Appreciation Post – Angie Ham

Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an after thought more and more. So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Angie Ham

I met Angie in 2015 when I joined Agile For All.  I like to refer to Angie is the one (with the help of her team) that makes Agile For All work.  She handles all of our operational aspects and yet what I want to appreciate her for is the little (yet huge) things she does beyond operational aspects.

I remember after my first Agile For All team all day meeting, Angie approached me with a very simple “I really love how you contributed today. You definitely belong at this table”. My day was made and the start of a very special bond started.

It’s no secret that I’m the over planner of the the crew.  I tend to have my things to the operations team well in advance of deadlines, etc.  Some of this is because I have some OCD issues but I’m also starting to admit that I just enjoy when Angie tells everyone I’m her favorite because I get my stuff to her early.  I’m seriously, who wouldn’t respond to being the favorite?!?!?

Her sense of humor helps to make any situation bearable from the mundane task of setting up a booth to trying to let go of a bad conflict – the quick wit, the authenticity…she is someone that I know would have my back.  That simply knowledge is incredibly powerful in building my confidence, my courage, and my general mental well-being.

So thank you Angie, for making this world a better place with your words, your actions and most importantly your heart. I’m grateful to have you in my life.

Tricia

Note there is no picture this week as this is what she would prefer and since it’s her appreciation – she gets what she wants! Also, they are not easy to find!

    I’m floored by this, Tricia.

I read somewhere that one measure of success is being surrounded by people you admire and respect. To that end, if I look to you and our team at Agile For All, I am successful beyond what I could have dreamed.

P.S. Thanks for not posting a pic – even after I put your face on tattoo sleeves. 🙂

Don’t think you are off the hook that easy 🙂
