Appreciation Post – Paul Tevis

Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an after thought more and more. So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Paul Tevis As with many people I’m very grateful for, I met Paul in the Agile community.  Do I have any memory of which conference or which year?  Nope, I think my memory is getting worse and worse.  But this post is not about that…let me focus on how much I appreciate Paul. Sometimes, there are just events that all align and overwhelm you.  Leaving you wondering if you are going to let anything drop. Normally, this would cause me a high degree of stress.  However, I could focus on what I had to do as a trainer, organizer, etc. because I completely trusted Paul.  In the last few weeks, Paul has facilitated a board meeting, ran point as technical difficulties volunteer for the Racial Equity events with Agile Alliance, assisted on a leading amazing teams course with a high number of students, and had a birthday in there.  Not only is he incredibly organized, dependable, knowledgeable, flexible…he’s also caring and funny. You have contributed to giving me a sense of connection when I’m stuck at home.  So much so, that I’ve asked him to assist on another course in a few weeks.  I may appreciate him but he may be done with me by the end of July 🙂 Picture from LinkedIn
